What can I say, beautifully big rooms, comfortable beds, excellent hot showers, my wife, myself, and granddaughter had a beautiful overnight stay, before heading back home after a memorable few days out in the Savannah and surrounds of the gulf country. I must say that Mt'Surprise is a "Surprise", having not been there for nearly 35 years, it is a pleasurable (if not a bit hot), place to stay for a short getaway.

Best stopover, came for 2 nights and tonight is the fifth. Leave tomorrow to go further west but will be staying here at Planet Earth on our way back. Rustic but hey worth 4 stars.

Good on ya guys! We did have an enjoyable time, and we will certainly consider staying here again, should we ever go through that way again, hopefully it will not be 35 years??

It was well set up with some extras I wasn't expecting like a menagerie. It had a cafe which served a delicious meal at a reasonale price. The cabin we were in was comfortable and near to the amenities block. The toilets had some discoloration but I'm guessing that was due to the mineral content of the bore water.
